[Pro2006] Parallel port PC Interface and ProgramIT software

Well as I understood it Bill copyrighted the software as he did pay for its creation. I
also know that the eputer program that is needed to get the initial programming into the
68hc11 was not to be given out freely, it is also copyrighted by Bill and we are the only
one allowed to pass it out with Pro-Turbo and only if it is asked for.
I don't believe Cindy is doing any sales for any of the hardware or software, I have had a
few people wanting Pro-Turbo but were having problems getting the hardware even after
finally getting a response from Cindy on it I have not heard back form them and that was a
longgggggggg time ago.
Last I heard a friend was offered everything from Cindy, he has not heard from her in a
longg time either.
Not too sure what we have regged I would have to look it up but we do get a few every year,
for the time we have into it even if we had charged $300 or $400 for the program we still
are in the hole and that is paying ourselves $1 an hour, but that's he way the ball rolls in
a specialized market, but everyone that has the program has a very well behaved program that
does just what it is supposed to do and then lots more, it doesn't tie your windows system
up like the DOS version does and is also a hell of allot easier to use, unlike redshift. I
beta tested it and a friend tried to beta test it, took me a long time to get it to run and
he never did get it to run, I don't know if you every used it, it had some nice features but
was very misleading in what some of them did and a very screwed up way of programming the
channels into the radio, would be great if it was for the opto board but not the CE/HB-232.
Yes lots of people are missing the joy of building and testing, worst part is it seems that
many of the hams we are seeing in the groups and stuff have no idea what if they have a
soldering iron or a high voltage probe in their hand or which end to hold.

Cheers

Len
