[Premium-Rx] HF 2050 REPAIR

Greg I saw this post earlier in the week or so ..  Most of us would 
agree the

hf-2050 Collins is a good receiver, BUT ? the POWER SUPPLY, short of 
profanity the PS just sucks, I had similar issues eons ago when I owned 
this receiver model,  i isolated the power supply input and outputs and 
soon found it was the the lower voltage portion of the supply i did 
diodes and caps and WAM off we went back to working full tilt.. now that 
was 15-20 years ago so the details i have long forgotten, but it fixed 
the receiver..
