[Premium-Rx] RFT EKD receivers option

Hello there Enrique,

A little word of caution about the EKD 500 (maybe the same can be said about the EKD 300, though I can’t tell for sure).
I got an EKD 500 in Friedrichshafen in 2022, and it was just fantastic and I have enjoyed it enormously. I remember seeing 2 or 3 more for sale at the hamfest, none of which worked. Recently, I saw a nice one advertised on eBay which “was working until recently, and went deaf suddenly”. And even more recently, the AGC in my EKD 500 decided to stop working correctly, and I am not sure where to start looking for the problem or where to get qualified help to fix it.
In brief, the EKD 500 is (in my opinion) an absolutely wonderful receiver, it is relatively young still, and it does not age well at all by any account, so get ready for trouble when you get yours (which I recommend anyway, as they are usually not hugely expensive).
