Before I contact RFi or whatever M/A COM is know by today about a manual, I 
thought it worthwhile to ping the list to see if anyone might have a manual 
for one of these receivers. If you do and wish to sell a copy or swap for a 
manual you need that I might have, would you be kind enough to email me?

Mopping up after the Karski fest, I found some Norlin/ Applied
Communication modules, blanks and extruded aluminum module shells in a
box.? The parts numbers for the modules are:

SP-2101A, Assembly AD6847
SP-2102, Assembly AD5554, Rev G
SP-2102R, Assembly AD4993

Three of the blank boards are marked BS2000 PC
On blank is marked BS2001 PC

Also in the box was an Applied Communications "Work Order Traveler Card"
which has little useful information but on which someone wrote with a
Sharpie "SDU Cards"

Anybody know in what unit these were used?? Does anyone need them?

I can send pictures.

I recently acquired an HF-1000A which suffers from the known Main Tuning 
Wheel's microprocessor hash noise.  This noise is radiated to speaker, line 
level, and phones audio via a metal encoder shaft that requires a mod that 
Dallas Lankford (Silent Key) engineered and was performed by Steve Pappin of 
PCS Associates before he went out of business.  The mod is on the internet 
in a pdf.  Is there anyone here who can, and would be willing, to perform 
this mod for me?  I will pay generously for time and materials and shipping
