I recently acquired an HF-1000A which suffers from the known Main Tuning Wheel's microprocessor hash noise. This noise is radiated to speaker, line level, and phones audio via a metal encoder shaft that requires a mod that Dallas Lankford (Silent Key) engineered and was performed by Steve Pappin of PCS Associates before he went out of business. The mod is on the internet in a pdf. Is there anyone here who can, and would be willing, to perform this mod for me? I will pay generously for time and materials and shipping both ways. Please respond via email @deanadk at hotmail.com<mailto:deanadk at hotmail.com> or here in this thread.
Thank you!
Dean
