Hello Spencer,
when I see these scams I as many others report it to eBay and the auction usually gets cancelled very quickly. 

About four years ago my eBay account was hacked and 2432 auctions were bulk uploaded within a minute. The scammer didn’t even change my password or entered a new contact info. I received about 50 questions about these auctions.

I noticed it when my phone iPhone didn’t stop beeping every time somebody placed a bid or asked a question. I called eBay about 15 minutes after the auctions started and within an hour all 2432 auctions were cancelled.

eBay blocked my account for but restored it within a week.
I didn’t sell any items myself at that time. It was annoying that eBay cancelled my bids and warned all sellers from whom I had won within the last two weeks not to deal with me. I had already paid for these auctions. It took me some time to set it right.

BTW if you need an AEG Telefunken E 1800A I currently have one up on eBay and it is for real. I happily sell it to a list member outside eBay. And if somebody is interested in a Rohde & Schwarz EB 200 I might be convinced to let it go too.
