There is some "family semblance" between the EN-R2 and other ITT receivers.
A tradition within the ITT conglomerate was to "look over the shoulders" of the developers in the sister
companies.
Lots of the "family traits" between products, such as between the
SRT CR91 and the ITT-Mackay MSR5050, can be explained in this way.
There were a lot of stories about American and British ITT staff visiting SRT and somewhat later developing
quite similar products.
Another example was the SRT STR950 and the very similar STC 800 W marine transceivers.

Rich is right to point to the (wonderful) most recent 2014 edition of Fred
Ostermann's book. It reveals that there might be only about 100 units of
the rx produced, in 1984. Filters 8,2,1, 0.4 and an empty slot. Intermarine
was an offshoot of more well-known CAI. Electro-Nav, which did not produce
any receiver themselves, may have been a somewhat fly-by-night setup,
cooperation between them and Intermarine soon ended, with Intermarine
issuing the rx in a very slightly changed EN-R3 version.
So in any case you have a rare receiver, Heinz, but good luck getting a
schematic.
Best regards,
Clemens S. Ostergaard
