You're right Ron I didn't see the letter "B".
Here in Europe, excellent selective voltmeters such as Wandel & Goltermann
are also available for long-wave listening. In my shack for LW listening I
employ:
R-389 / URR

EC-958/12

MARCONI "ATALANTA"

WANDEL & GOLTERMAN SPM-19 (50 Hz-25 MHz)

Recommendations?
Hello,
I believe you missed the letter "B" in the
numbers, R-2174B, which is one of only 104 ever made for the Navy Submarines,
otherwise you are correct, the great 6790/GM or R-2174 are not rare, I have 5
of them currently, one which is very rare and it hears down to 10kHz quite
well, was designed to do so.
Hope this clears this up, Ron
