[Premium-Rx] WJ 8711A RAM Question

OK, so I know quite a few people have sold their 8711s, but I also know 
that not everyone has.  My question:  other than replacing the DS-1643 
chip, are there other solutions that people have come up with to keep 
these great receivers going?  I have read the excellent summary of the
