Folks- Just a heads-up for RA6790 owners:
I have never discussed a product before, but I now have a tiny Sotabeam
CW/SSB DSP audio filter for the 6790's audio output, which removes a lot of
audio hash/crackle when listening to CW or SSB. It is my 2d of Richard's
filters, and besides the even tinier DIY pc board version, he has
simplified the filters to include a small aluminum box, a volume control,
and a CW/SSB B/W switch. <

They are also available as a wide and narrow B/W CW or SSB. for ~~$68
delivered to US.
The filter works great with headphones or a small speaker, and removes much
distracting old-component noise in my 6790. (YMMV). This is my second one
of these filters, and they are both very useful to me.
Cheers, and 73,
