[Premium-Rx] Racal RA 5555 VHF/UHF receiver and Receiver, Radio R-1910(v)2/GRR

Hello,
I visited the estate of a silent key today and came accross two rare receivers.
The first is a Racal RA 5555 VHF/UHF receiver. It covers 20MHz to 1GHz and modes are LSB, USB, AM, CW, FM, available bandwiths are 3kHz up 300kHz. 
Google did not find any info on the receiver but the picture of a RA 1795 is close.

The other receiver is even more obscure to me. It is a R-1910(V)2/GRR made by General Instrument Corp, Electronic Systems Division, Hicksville, NY.
This is a remote controlled 19" receiver, 4 units height, weight is 70lbs. The front panel only has a switch channel A/channel B, headphone output and headphone volume control as well as a power switch.
The name tag says receiver radio 1.5 to 30 MHz. Contract number DAAB03-76-C-0171.
Unfortunately there is no remote control.
I would appreciate any info about these receivers. Finding a remote control would be equal to hitting the jackpot.
