Greg,
When I took the pictures to sell the Harris R-2368 on Ebay, I labeled the unit as a "b" to reference that it was the second unit to be sold by me and to separate it from another set of pictures from a previous R-2368 that I had offered for sale.  Thus, this is not a model difference and only a difference in my labeling.  About 3 years ago, I realized that there were variations among a variety of receivers using "alpha" designations and that this was conflicting with my arrangement for designating picture sets.  Thus, I began to place a hyphen between the unit and the alpha so that I would not confuse the two.  When I saw that your question the other day inquired about a "b" unit, I realized that this was an older set of pictures prior to my making the change in labeling.  Thus, I relabeled the album and placed a hyphen between the model and the "b" to make it an R-2368-b to make my picture labeling scheme consistent with what I currently do with pictures.  This caused the links to stop functioning, but hopefully most readers got a chance to view the pictures before the change.  Unfortunately, while the unit had a cabinet, I was not familiar with it's maker or source and so am not helpful to answer this portion of your question.

Hi all,

Randy McIntosh has pictures of a Harris R-2368B (what is a B?) in a cabinet which I am hoping you can identify. Is it possibly the RF-594-02 described in the options list in the Harris R-2368 manual? It does appear to have factory cutouts in back for access to connections.
