And remember or think about,  there is no VFO type control, it is 
predicated on fixed freq or channel operation [ transmitting side i 
speak of ]  that got old to me very quickly.. you are always SPLIT 
operation fixed on xmit

BUT ?  you can usually be sure where you are with your xmit signal at 
least ..
