It has been very Interesting to see what people enjoy using from a Favourite
receiver perspective.

Many of the radios mentioned I have and use from week to week and I rate
them all with strengths and weaknesses it's just the nature of radio design.

I have to say my Favourite receiver to use at the moment is a E52 German
WWII set.

It's not a digital receiver but it does compare favourably when being used
for band cruising.

It's easy to use, does not have a bunch of controls to contest with, very
sensitive for a NON Digital radio and has a warm sound.

It resolves all of the commercial and sideband armature signals I need to
listen to, with a reasonably low noise floor a for a vintage receiver when
used in conjunction with a Folded Terminated Dipole antenna.

It's up there for design with the multiple analogue front end filtering for
great selectivity and strong adjacent signal rejection.!
