I finally unpacked the last two receivers and should find some time to power them up this week. I was pretty effectively sidelined by throat cancer treatments from the end of October until now so work and play was all 'on-hold'. It was interesting dealing with this being a non-smoker and almost a non-drinker- not a high risk person for this kind of a disease. Good news is I lost a good deal of weight which actually is good for my health.
 
I am finally back at work and starting to resurrect some of my hobbies. 
 
Did you buy any of the Miniceptors or Microceptors that had popped up on eBay? It was nice to see a few fast receivers for sale, though many of them would need to have narrow bandwidths added for traditional hobby applications. They seemed to all have pretty wide IF's for use with broadband external demods or DF equipment.
