Thank you all for the expert answers. Interesting, that the oven conditioning method was mil compliant.
What I did not understand so far: While exposed to serious overload the resistance can decrease to values well below the nominal value. I do not think that this happen also because of the evaporation moisture (that would mean, that the moisture is there while manufacturing and would be one of the main production parameters).
