In the meantime, I am just about out of rack space though I intend to build that dream ham shack soon, utilizing the best antennas and tuning in to some of the stations that I currently listen to in Saudi Arabia. The DX on this end is phenomenal!

Yup,?51 year in the business and now?it's time to enjoy stuff. I really don't enjoy wringing out receivers and comparing them to each other any more. A microvolt here and a db there. I had enough of that and find that we are splitting hairs on (usually) inaudable differences. However, I find that the subjective analysis holds much more credance (and is a lot more fun). Anything that's new, to me, gets plugged into the multicoupler and is quickly compared to whatever else I choose to have it compete against. Several nights of this kind of evaluation is much more telling to me than fractions of MDS, or noise floor, or intermod, or filter skirt response...did I mention that it's fun? I do have some favorites, but?I don't dare start a Ford vs. Chevy discussion. I
