Hello,
Since your CR301A has a Nihon Dempa OCXO it is a quite late
production, probably around 1976 or 77.
This OCXO has the same performance as the more common grey Racal 9400
OCXO.
The 10,7 MHz IF is not accessible from the outside, so you have to
find and open the module B10601 3450 in the receiver section,
and connect a small capacitor to the gate of Y2 (2N4416) on the card
B10601 3451 in this module.
Follow this with a reasonable amount of 10,7 MHz IF amplification on a
separate card, and connect the output of this amplifier to P110 that
was previously used for
the 200 kHz panoramic adapter output.
You should be aware that gain on 10,7 MHz connected to the "front
part" of the module may degrade the filter shape factor of the 10,7 MHz
filter.
