You'll find the DSR-2 manual here, with the further good news being that  
Rapidshare, for now anyway, have dropped all their download restrictions,  
time penalties etc, for non account holders.......

Can't help with any practical suggestions unfortunately, last time I worked 
 on one of these was around 35 years ago:-)
