The Drake DSR1 manual is available via the link listed here. It is a free
download. I have possessed both the DSR1 and DSR2 versions in the past and
they are very similar.

As I recall, the meter is identical to the one used in the rack mount MSR
series of receivers.

It is very easily removed from the rear of the front panel by disconnecting
the lamp(s) and removing a couple of screws.
