   Regarding to the SD5000 quad FET, I have a Racal 1772 and I would like to replace the FET,s in the first mixer.  I think that I have a high noise floor, this could be due to the receiver has been working for many years and as you know these FETs run very hot. A good idea to replace them or would it better to check-replace other components  before doing nothing?
