[Premium-Rx] Marconi M3000 Oceanic.

Hi All,

I don't suppose anyone out there in premium Rx land knows of a source of a replacement mains transformer, or replacement PSU (A10) module for a Marconi M3000 Oceanic Rx?

The one in my receiver self destructed pretty spectacularly at 3AM this morning, and nearly took my shack with it.....

If it wasn't for fast acting breakers, and a smoke alarm, it could have been much worse.

The whole PSU has seen better days, and could have been straining the transformer, as it has had lots of "none standard" work on it.

It will teach me to relly on the front panel power switch to isolate it in the future.
I have never worked on it, as I brough it working, and just assumed the front panel switch was on the primary side of the Tx. For future refference it ISN'T.....

Anyway, at least it has made me buy a fire extinguisher for the shack, which I have been getting round to for years, and replace the batteries in my smoke alarms.

I've also had to promise the XYL to fully isolate the shack when I leave the room.
