Wow, thanks so much guys!

I received around 20 private responses all about Gary Wingard. I have been
in touch with him and he seems like a great guy. Now to box up my
collection and get it over to him.

It took the purchase of three receivers just to get some of the different
options like a complete set of filters, including the ISB ones, the ISB
board and one radio I bought just because it had a special surge arrestor
module attached to the RF input.

Yes, it is a sin but whenever I see a parted out 6790 on eBay I almost
cannot help myself and if the bandpass filter is the part for sale I will
spring $30 for it. I have added that filter to many other receivers (even a
venerable Hammarlund SP-600) to reduce out of band interference. It is a
great design.
