[Premium-Rx] ROM or EPROM losing its content

Hi,

I've got copies of various versions of RA-1792 / 6790GM and WJ-8711 / 2 (HF1000) firmware if anyone needs it.
Maybe we should set up some form of online storage for the images, so that the data is always kept safe no matter what.
The only problem I can see is that some of the data is likely to still be covered by copyright, so in theory at least it could be seen as a form of software piracy.....
I presume that it would be treated in a similar way to that of "ripping" CD's and movies, wherin as long as you possesed the original media (receiver) then posession of backup images for personal use would be acceptable.
So storing ROM / EPROM images online with public access may in theory at least cause issues.

Cheers,

versions for WJ gear.

Best Regards,
Steve
