[Premium-Rx] ESKA Escom 500 receiver

Hello Michael,

I have to say, as a Dane very interested in this kind of receiver, I have
never seen one. This leads me to believe it was more or less a prototype.

The brain(s) behind ESKA was Eddy Visser, Dutch, but based in Denmark in
the 1980s. A very original electronics engineer. One idea might be to ask
him. He is living in Vietnam, call sign XV1X

What probably happened was cost overrun on the ESCOM500, pricing it out of
any market,-even the military - and in 1985 Eska filed for bankruptcy. The
schematics of the manual are dated 1986, so probably Eddy moved first to
Rotterdam and continued work, then gave it up and moved to Vietnam where he
married.
