Hi John

Good luck with your search, but there could be an alternative if you can't
find one, especially if you've got an otherwise complete receiver.

It's been a long time since I worked on an MSR receiver, but looking at
the MSR2 manual to refresh my memory this should be an easy enough board to
replicate.

Getting a one off PCB made, especially one as straightforward as this, is
quick and relatively inexpensive these days, but this particular board
could also be an ideal candidate for the type of perf board that comes with a
fitted edge connector, either the version laid out for DIL ICs or even just
one with strips.

When laying out similar prototypes in the past I generally used a Vero
wiring pen for the onboard interconnections, as that tends to be quite neat
and compact, but not sure if the pens or the wire are still available. Single
strand insulated wire links should also be fine though.

Just a thought.

Greetings to all:
I am in need of a working counter card (A17) for the Drake MSR/FM-P Marine
receiver.
The part number is 689-1700 and it is used in all of the various MSR series
units, as well as, the DSR-2 series receivers. Further research indicates
that it is also used in the older DSR-1 receivers. The same part number is
utilized for all of the aforementioned receivers although the diagram
location numbers very from model to model ie: A17, A12, etc.
I would truly appreciate the chance to pick up a working card or any leads
that I may pursue, in order to, obtain one of these cards. Kindly contact
me
offline via my email address. Thanks so much for your kind consideration.
Regards, John.
