Hi Bob, I have a tons of sleeve of spares for the 6790 here but alas not
that apparently because it was not a spare stocked in the repair depot that
the guy before me picked up, before I got his 7 dead radios. I built 4
working ones and piled the rest in the garage - but he wasn't the guy from
Dayton.
I'm guessing it's U15 on the A7 card you're looking for? (if they're also
on another card let me know) I've got 2 spare A7 cards in my not tested,
probably never use pile, you're welcome to try them and if one works you can
send me your dead one, or if all else fails, extract the chip from one of
them and send the rest back.

Looking for an 82S83 (or 74F583) BCD Adder IC for my 6790 - or sources
for same.
A suggestion for 6790 owners: consider replacing the 12,500 UF filter
cap on the 5 volt supply as preventive maintenance; it seems to raise
havoc when it fails.
Also - wonder if anyone knows what became of the big pile of non-working
6790s that were sold at Dayton last year? All went to one buyer from
what I was told, so there ought to be lots of parts out there somewhere.
Thanks and 73,
Bob W9RAN.
