Hi all,
I received a hand typed letter from Rick Sitz in Bradenton Fl. looking for someone to help him repair a low sensitivity problem. Anybody down there in Fla.  who can help him? A bit too far away for me and I don't know the radio. He got it from Les Locklear.

The IC-R9000 is certainly a premium receiver, so please post away!

I have two of them, and installed the Sherwood fan/cooling mod on both.  I
would highly recommend this as the receivers do tend to run on the warm
side.

Overall, the R9000 is a great performer and fun to operate.  It is difficult
to believe they are over two decades old now...
