[Premium-Rx] Anritsu RG-52A

Hello Cecil,

I purchased a RG-52A at Dayton in 2005.
Then I tried to find a manual for it.

I tried the Anitrsu offices on both coasts, and got nowhere.

Finally, in the east coast office, I was lucky enough to get
referred to someone who was willing to tell me what was really
going on: When Anitrsu was bought out a number of years ago,
the first thing the new owners did was to destroy the entire
inventory of manuals for anything that was not in current
production.

After searching for months, I was able to locate a copy
of the manual at a bookstore in England.  (The cost of the
manual, plus shipping, was over $100.00).  When the package
arrived, inside was a beat-up Heath DX-100 manual!!  Fortunately,
the seller contacted the person who was supposed to get
the DX-100 manual, and he sent the RG-52A manual to me.
(Not long after that, the seller went out of business).

I was going to swap the RG-52A to Nick England, but he
wouldn't take it without a manual.  It took so long to find the
manual that the deal fell through, so I sold the radio (with
manual) in 2006.
