Bob: The RX-325 was the original SWL version. Not premium, of course.
The SP-325 was the premium version made for the U. S. Navy. It seemed
to be a Charleston SC procurement for their training centers. It came
with rack-mounting ears.
There is a vast difference in quality and operation between the two.
It would take a lot of space here to tell you all the features and
differences between the two.
I owned the RX-325 first but sold it after getting the SP version, which
I use for spot frequency monitoring, although it does have a scan function.
Check manual copy providers or WA5CAB. If you don't have success I have
the manual for the SP version and can make a copy.
