Hi,

Ive just acquired a TTI TSA250 spectrum analyser converter and a 
Tektronix 602 X-Y display to go with it. Both unfortunatley without 
documentation.
I've plugged them in and they seem to work as I'd expect but it would 
be nice to have some info on them for the day is bound to come when one 
or the other won't....
The only thing is that at present the TSA250 does not seem to be 
producing it's callibration "pips" although I haven't really had a 
proper play as yet.

Does anyone on the list have any info on either unit? All I can find 
on the net so far is the datasheet for the TSA250.

Just to add my two penny's worth to the Racal discussion, I've got a 
RA1771, 2x RA1772 and an RA1778, and so far have had very few problems 
appart from the odd dry joint. The only component faults I have had so 
far have been a failed op-amp on th AFC board of the RA1778 short to 
earth killing the PSU, and an  open circuit neutral in the mains power 
switch of one of my 1772's.
The 1772 and the 1778 are amongst my favourite receivers,and I have a 
few :-)
