Yep, there's always the converter route.

On my diversity setup, I was lucky enough to get hold of an MS-561-2 
to convert the 1400 KHz
to 100 KHz for the input of the MA-168 diversity combiner.

building a convertor with a Minicircuits mixer and a crystal 
oscillator isn't that big a deal, but I
rather suspect that most users wouldn't want to go to that much effort.
