[Premium-Rx] WJ8712 : Thank You !

Hi Everybody

 

My WJ8712 arrived, and thanks to the generosity of many people on Premium
RX, I have it all hooked up to my PC, and using HyperTerm, am able to
control it !

 

Unfortunately, I have a 64 Bit Windows 7 Ultimate configuration, so none of
the various s/w you all generously sent me works !! Never mind, even more
incentive to get the G8JCFSDR to work with the WJ8712.

 

There are a couple of things I'd like to ask the group for

 

1)      Does anyone have documentation on the Dip Switches please ?

2)      The fan is very noisy, I guess over 10 years of service have taken
their toll, and I'd like to fit a new fan, so does anyone have details ?

 

Once again, very many thanks for such rapid and fulsome responses to my
request for help.
