[Premium-Rx] WJ 8617B WITH PROBLEMS

I have a 8617b with problems.
Does not tune, memory will not stop running, cannot change Cor, no
audio,
 pot noise when pot is rotated, does not go above 500mhz when BITE is
run, but has FE. VBFO does not display or change.
This is not an S1. Does have SSB, WBO, and DAV. Needs 6khz filter.
I question the settings of the S1 and S2 switches on the synthesizer
board. Terry's settings are not clear on a 8617B non S1.
Eight switch, 2 and 7 are open. Six switch, 1 and 2 are open. 
I was told this radio worked.........
