Hi Group:
Another "must have" is (from memory) "Shortwave Receiver Design", Ulrich Rohde.
It's technical, but an excellent volume.
Of course, the R&S receiver legacy is legendary.
Bob
<<Joe beat me to the warm recommendation of Cornell Drentea's excellent book
"Radio Communications Receivers". It really is required reading for anyone
interested in receiver design and is not technically too dense. The print
date is 1982 and the technical era is "WJ8888-ish" but the principles of
good design remain relevant.
I suspect Cornell may have worked at WJ.
