Hi All,

Does anyone know if there's anyone in the UK that refurbishes front
panels for the R-390A?
I have just acquired a rather nice Motorola receiver that unfotunately
has a rather badly corroded front panel, mostly on the outer edges but
with several spots on the main panel.
I would have a go at the panel myself but it is a painted panel rather
than an embosed one, so will require the text repainting afterwards,
something I don't feel capable of.

Also, does anyone know of a source of knob's in the UK? This one is
missing one of the larger control knobs and has had a "chicken head"
knob fitted in it's place. Fair radio in the states sell them for $7
but have a minimum order of $25 and an international shipping charge 
of
$14.95, making for a very expensive knob.
