The /3 is a later model and has a higher IP3. The 1800 offered by Singer 
is a AEG/Telefunken brand, both companies are long gone.

There is a 1800/3 on eBay Germany ending tomorrow at 14.33 eastern 
standard time, starting bid is €7,999 which is about $11,760.
