Hello group !
I'm myself owner of a E-531 receiver , when i was working for civil aviation in yemen, i did help them to clear that problem
they had 6 receivers working permanently on preset frequencies for oceanic coverage.They were working since 10 years !
And still in very good condition. In their case we did replace the internal memory battery by small 9 volts NI/CD and it clears the problem.
By the way nobody in the group does have a spare memory board to sell or swap ? Because my receiver doesnt have !
