[Premium-Rx] WJ 8969

I finally got all of the pieces required to complete my WJ-8969 receiving
system. Not many were built. I was lucky enough to find one of the very rare
IFC's that has 8 bandwidths ranging from 10 KHz up to 36 MHz. It has both
the 21.4 MHz and 160 MHz IF outputs. All of the options for voice, video,
and data are loaded.

The first tuning unit I acquired was a half rack unit and I just found a
full rack unit. My coverage is from 100 MHz to 18 GHz. The tuning unit can
be remotely mounted next to the antenna up to 1000' away from the IFC
control head. A very nice feature designed to reduce transmission line
losses.

Before I begin this 8969 research project I would like to ask a few
questions:

Who else has an 8969 and what are they using it for?
How do you feel about the performance?
What decoders would you recommended and for what purposes?
Does anyone have a manual in printed or pdf format?
