[Premium-Rx] OT Dynamic Sciences I-1700 Impulse Generator

I hope this isn't considered too off topic, given that Dynamic Sciences  
receivers are likely to be considered reasonably premium:-)
 
I've bought an I-1700 impulse generator for use as a wideband  
test/calibration tool, it's presumably an earlier model than the current IG-1700  although 
it looks identical, and am looking for any documentation that may  be 
available. I've found an IG-1700 spec sheet but that's all.
 
Basic operation is straightforward enough but I could really use a  list of 
GPIB commands, and any other information would be appreciated. I have  asked DS 
but haven't had a reply as yet, and not really expecting one.
 
If all DS units match the build quality of this one, even those  not  
receivers, they should certainly qualify as "premium"  in their own right:-)
