[Premium-Rx] Answer to posting on WJ 8940B receivers

In answer to John Ceresole's question. I bought that WJ 8940B DCU unit  
that Murphy's surplus had (less keypad and other parts). I was able to 
get one DCU up and running between the two defective DCUs.  However I 
still am unable to get the DCU to tune below 5kHz (VLF receiver) or 
above 999Mhz (1-18Gighz extender unit).  Looking for any information or 
help as to how the DCU knows the VLF and extender units are connected. 
Is a different  version of software necessary or what. Give my right arm 
for a circuit description regarding this.  Help from anyone would be 
much appreciated.
