[Premium-Rx] New German Radio

Hi all,
   
  From the pictures that I have seen it would appear that relays of a suitable specification have been used rather than low cost devices.  From the care taken in the overall design I would imagine that the contacts are whetted and therefore any low signal problems avoided.

  when when you take the net prices 
  the 600W Hilberling is still considerably more expensive than a IC-7800
  which has a net price of 8000 Euro.
  So the basically the price relationships between 
  the PT8000 variants and the IC-7800 will stay the same outside Europe.

Well it depends. For all of us endusers residing inside the European 
Community we have to pay the German VAT (sales tax) which currently is 
16% and will rise to 19% in 2007. Anybody outside the EU pays the net 
price plus applicable customs fees and other local taxes for his country 
of residence.
