Hello All,

This radio looks very serious!
However, following the the archetecture it appears that the two roofing filters which appear to be switchable, depending on mode, are @ 6Khz and 17.2Khz width, providing +40dBm @ 20 Khz. I do wonder if these may not be sufficiently "tight" enough to yield anything like these figures at close in spacing's.(i.e.;- 5 and 2 Khz ) .
But I think it will possibly give the Icom and Yaesu Flagships a headache or two.!!! I suppose we will have to wait and see.

I was there on Saturday and Sunday.
They did have a special prepared radio for the exhibition there with
a transparent top cover,so one could see very well inside the radio.
Moreover they showed also seperately the filter unit with all those 16-pole
  crystal if filters.
It was also possible to play with the radio on theses days.
They had also an extra radio connected to a Marconi two tone generator and a R&S
100k$ spectrum analyzer showing "live" the IP3 of +40dBM of the front end.
  Maybe you've missed something?

Hilberling was at the Friedrichshafen Hamfest (Germany) in June and they had
one on display. Other than the erector-set ugly microphone, it looks fairly
nice. They did not have it set up, at the time I was there, such that you
could play with it. It was also not opened up, so there was no way to see
the innards other than from the brochure photos.
