[Premium-Rx] Remote control Telefunken 1800/3 and Skanti 8001

Ive decided the time has come to delve into trying to tie these two
beasts up to some sort of simple remote control.

I have full serial specs on both rx´s and have been looking into what
George Wagner suggested back in 1999 on this list for starters.

However before i start out ..does anyone have working software for
abovementioned or have ever seen it ?

Finally what would anyone recommend for this project in the code
department ?

I  works as an IT specialist so im not afraid on entering this
project..allthough i expect it to be a long project.


I prefer to write it myself as i cant find working software and what i
have found is completely non-understandable to me...

Does such a thing as Visual Basic work for basic programming..i fear
starting into C++ :=) In any flavour what would be best for crude
RS232 exchanges to a radio ?
