Hi All,
The soft rock guys are taking orders for the SR6. $14 US, $15 DX. Nice small
board.
My sdr interface is working great and suggest the SR6 for a cheap way to
check it out.
I suspect all you have to do to convert it to a 455 KHz interface is change
the crystal and input filter to an attenuator pad. I used a color burst
crystal to give me a 7.6 KHz I/Q to the sound card. I'm using I2PHD software
and yet to try Flex. The spectrum monitor is well worth the trouble.
I'm thinking my next effort will be an interface to the 40.455 MHz first if.
My board is connected just ahead of the 455 khz filters in the RA6830. This
would be the same spot in a 6790. A simple resistive divider does it. 1k/ 50
ohms. Variable bandwidth is very cool.
The SR6 should fit inside a R3030 module. fc
