[Premium-Rx] Need assistance on serial interface for WJ

Gentlemen:

It is always a pleasure to hear from people throughout the world that share 
our interest in Premium-Receivers.  Today I received the following E-mail 
from Horacio Simonetti who evidently has a WJ receiver and desires to drive 
it via the serial port.  Surely we can extend a helping hand?

I would appreciate it if some of our WJ collectors would take the challenge 
and work with Horacio.  Perhaps there is a site that gives the software codes?

Dear Sir:
                I'm working with an old WJ-8617-B VHF/UHF (Serial 
346)  Receiver and trying to use the serial RS 232 interface to control the 
SCAN function but don't have neither the pin out of the DB 25 connector nor 
the control words format to be sent to the reciver to set it to scan, the 
result words from it and nothing about interfacing.

Would you be so kind as to send me the information described above?

I've also seen that above the DB 25 there is a DB 9 connector, do they have 
the same function?
