Hi Ahmet,

I agree with OJ, the SAIT rigs are very similar, if not the same as their
Skanti originals.
SAIT Belgium licence-built the Skanti rigs in 'low cost ' marine version.
Apart from some minor differences in finish, they compare with the Skantis.

I , for instance, was able to service my blown up SAIT S2000 power supply( =
non-marine SAIT MR1543 = Skanti R5000) with the aid of a R5001 Skanti ( =
MR14501) servicemanual
Many parts and boards are identical!

Peter

Subject: [Premium-Rx] SAIT MR-14501

Hello everybody,

A friend of mine just mentioned on the phone that he ended up
getting 2 ( not one for some reason !... ) SAIT MR-14501. I have
seen the pic on the web but does anyone have knowledge about this
receiver. What about its performance. Looks like they were built
for ships ?? Anyone own this set ? How about its Performance ?

Thx
Ahmet
