Perhaps you mean the Soviet P-155 series receiver ? This is a rack mount
monster made in variations as P-155/A/MP/H/P/y . Cyrilic "P" is the
English letter "R".
I haven't looked at Helmut Singer's catalog yet but if this is the receiver
you are referring to, it covers 1.5-30 MHz AM/CW/LSB-USB with a nixie style
readout at the synthesizer. They were used in large fixed station
applications and have a curious looking punch-block board arrangement behind
a trap door on the top panel which apparently allows presets of frequencies
and/or modes. My Russian skills are not good enough to decipher the
details, but there are some at:

The "noun name" for this receiver is, translated loosely, "Mountain
Cranberry." I guess that is an improvement over their first postwar premium
receiver, the "Krot," which means "Mole" as in burrowing rodent rather than
an item for dermatologists.
