Hi, Sid.

I use a RACAL RA-6217 with the LF converter.  Added to it, I have an
external audio
filter consisting of 3 FL-8 audio filters and 3 solid state audio amps to
make up for filter loss.
I can switch each filter in & out separately to vary the bandpass and the
signal level through 
the system stays the same.  Works well for me.
