Hi Al, I think you are right about the tag number 6790 GM23. One sure way to 
tell if the radio has the VLF mixer is to take the cover off the 1st Mixer A2 
module. If it has the VLF mixer the !st mixer box is about twice the size of a 
standard mixer box and the board arrangement is a little different to make 
room for the larger mixer box. Yours truly, Todd Roberts WD4NGG
